Helping people is the thing that helps me reach those goals, every day.

That is my wife, my grown up kids, my friends, my clients and people I haven't even met yet.

We can all choose the decisions we make.

Some of our belief systems can be deep rooted, I was baptised at a very young age and raised as a Roman Catholic and the older generations of my family were deeply involved in the church. My Dad even converted from being a Methodist.

Yet that belief system does not over ride or even influence the decisions I make today, the decisions I made yesterday and the decisions I will make tomorrow.

Why would I restrict myself in that way.

Getting to know how people think and why they think that way often leads to greater understanding and better decisions, I help leaders with this and other parts of their decision making when establishing or improving their work place culture from a DEIB and accessability perspective.

People are able to change, it can be a slow process for some, for others it can be quicker, however you work is up to you.

My strongest value is fairness, that people are treated fairly and that they also treat people fairly, not always the case in the corporate world and that can stem from the leadership because leaders set the culture and the belief system.

Leaders and leadership needs help and guidance, especially in DEIB and work place culture. Ideas are great, implementation is more difficult, it is the ongoing continuation and building of a culture that takes the hardest work.
